Disaster Relief for the Diocese of Owensboro KY. FROM
BISHOP GRUSS

DISASTER
RELIEF FOR THE DIOCESE OF OWENSBORO, KY

As we are all
aware, more than 30 tornadoes were reported in at least six states, spanning
more than 200 miles from Arkansas to Kentucky last Friday night and into
Saturday morning.  Tens of thousands of Kentuckians remain without power,
and many are without shelter – while countless others mourn the death of loved
ones due to these violent tornadoes.  It appears that most of the
devastation is concentrated throughout the Diocese of Owensboro.  In this
time of Advent HOPE, please consider a collection of financial support within
your parish that can be donated to the Diocese of Owensboro in their multiple
efforts to minister to those most in need.  Please encourage all our brothers
and sisters across the Diocese of Saginaw to be generous in their response as
we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent.

If you wish to donate,
please place your donation in the collection basket and mark it “Diocese of
Owensboro
Relief”.  If donating by check, the check must be made out to Prince of
Peace Parish.  We will then
forward all donations on in one check.
All donations must be received by December
26th.

Thank you!
